Hi all,
I am having problems setting the ftL setting for my plasma display. It's a Hitachi 55HDX99 Director's Series Ultravision. The Greyscale for Dummies asked for about 30-40ftL but I can't get it past 17ftL, making the picture dull. I'm using a Chroma 5 colorimeter. All my other specs are great but this one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. I'm using CalMAN Pro software with GetGrey disc. Thanks again.

I'm good now. I was using the wrong measurement (Imperial instead of Metric). I did a full calibration and it appears I have a new TV after 3 years of use. I'm amazed at the difference. I wish I had a screen shot to post (report is on my laptop) but I can assure you that all my lines are perfect, especially the lumanation. Thanks for your help anyway. I'm off and running. Very Happy
