9 Inch is brighter, not sure how much but if you want to have percentages id say 15-20%. I still have to dig through the boxes to get the part numbers, i'll try to get at least one. No show for an employee today and I usually have wed's off or for office work. Sad

The size difference is huge for the face plates, thats why i am not using these for 9 inch tubes, the back side of the face plate is also different so you cant even get a 9 inch in there.

PT18-136(r) the red tube so far, i guess the other numbers would be similar.

the difference in light outout isn't as big as you would expect. Based on that pic you'd think it was 50% more but Nash is right, based on my observations 20% max.
look at it this way, assuming identical screen sizes, a 9 inch with 1.0 Unity gain and an 8" on a 1.3 gain screen would deliver close to the same FL back to the viewing position, IMHO of course.
