Can you upgrade a xg 1100 to an xg 1100 lc and are xg 750 circuit boards compatable with the xg 1100? Also, if a xg 1100 powers on but does not show an image whats the problem.

Thanks

TV/Projector: All of them!

At the prices of sets now with good tubes, an AC to LC upgrade isn't worth it. The set of tubes and lenses will put you in the poorhouse, and you can find a decent LC set for less than buying new tubes and lenses. I have a line on a new in the box XG135LC. It will be about $3K or so.

A lot of hte boards are swappable between the 750 and 1100. No pix with no error codes on a 1100 is a bit rare. It could be a bad system board, no HV, no G2, or any number of other faults that won't trigger an error code in the NEC. If you do have a spare 750, then start swapping boards, that's the fastest way to find out.
