This is kind of a shot in the dark but do you have "status" set to "ON?"

Do you get to the message where it asks you if you want to enter service mode?

Thank you so much for getting back to me! But it is already on. See, I can use the service mode buttons for adjusting the skew, etc, but it's in the service menu that I still can't access the options like oscillating pattern
