Mac
Thanks for your help
Just waiting on Sanyo Australia to ring me back.
I found that same post ..if its correct then there has to be a way for this old beast.
Fingers crossed.
Its funny how me cleaning everything possibly caused this..perhaps if the dust was put back on ...the ghosting would go away !

Perhaps the service manuals for the Boxlight 9600 or the Eiki LC-X1 and Proxima 9310 would be more helpful..???
"Older Sanyo models like the PLC-9000 and other makes such as Boxlight 9600, Eiki
LC-X1 and Proxima 9310 made by Sanyo were "repairable" by getting into the
service menu and changing one data value. "

You know, you must have the screwed up version.
I just pulled an Eiki projector and another Sanyo PLC projector and they both have ghost adjustments in the menu. Of course I cant see how to relate them to your menu because they are totally different.

That post about the ghosting being adjustable for the PLC-9000 must have been wrong then.
Sanyo have not rang me back yet.
Looking like the old gal is nearly ready for the big projector bin in the sky.

The adjustment is probably in there. They probably didn't include it in the service manual back then. The ones I pulled are 06/07 models.

Well Ladies
I waited and waited for mr Sanyo to call ...he never did
So I pondered to chuck my old faithful..but no !
I went through the Data settings one by one...just altering each one by one click to see if any changes occured..
And Voila !!!!
Data Point 13 (NOT USED) in the Manual LOL...set from "0006" to "0005"
And all is sweeeetttttt !!!!!!!!!!!
All I need to do now is recalibrate a bit ....after the cleaning the colours are out of balance.
My thanks to Mac for his pointers !
Cheers
