Hello,

Today i tried once again to the fixmysterious stripes one the red tube of my 9500LC.

Put out the astig board and saw two resistors which are nearly burnt away in the area of the connectors for the red tube. soldered them out, one resistor has if i remember correctly 2.2ohm and one seems to be gone resistance is endless.

so can anyone may take a photo of an marquee astig board to see the colour of R103 and R253 need to know the values.
as i said the resistors are located directly near the connector for red tube.

and another question, i read about disconnecting the astig board, is this possible should i try this ?

thanks a lot for your help,
manuel

Hi Manuel, there is no R253, do you mean R203? those are both fusible 2.2 ohm resistors. make sure you get fusible ones again.

If they blow out again then you might have another component bad. Check the two caps right there also the 470uf ones to make sure they are not bulging or leaking.
C101 and C201.

if you can get nice round dots with the CPC magnets then you dont need the stig amp connected. it does help with higher resolutions but its not necessary.

EDIT, if it is 235 its a 8.2 ohm resistor.
