... such large damage. Got a call from someone that had a DWIN 700. Tried setting it up after it was in storage for a while or something like that, and found that the R and G tubes had a V line burnt down the middle.
He wrote it off, and I bought the PC boards off the thing from him. THey showed up the other day, and it wasn't hard to see why there was deflection failure.
Sad thing was, the connector had been repaired for the identical failure under the PC board, but whatever tech worked on it didn't see the obvious, that the pins were corroded, and the failure continued until there was complete H deflection failure.

I've seen this before with Molex connectors. The first time in a DWIN mind you, but I've seen a MArquee yoke connector fry like this, along with a Barco I think.

I had the pin of a Molex connector overheat so bad it burned a pencil size hole in a AmPro focus board.
