I received an X-Rite Eye-One Display 2 with Calman for Christmas. I want to use it for many display types, but the most important to me is my front projector. My question is, should I send it back and by the Calman enhanced Spider 3, or follow the online instructions for attaching a tripod mount to the Display 2?
In other words, is the upgrade to Spider 3 worth the minor hassle of exchanging products through the mail, or just work with what I have?
Thank you for your help

Keep what you have now, calibrate all your displays then sell the probe. they only last about a year. to make it last longer keep in in a zip lock bag and use desiccants to keep it free of moisture which is what really causes filter based probes to loose accuracy.

if you plan to tweak your displays often get a spectrometer based probe like the Eye 1 Pro. they last much longer and can be sent in for calibration if they do go out of whack.
