Hi Guys,
we're trying to set up an HDFury2 to D50 combo that also has an IFB 10, 11, or 12 card installed in the B slot. The picture's not great off the IFB card so I sugested trying the input A and setting it to RGB.

Here's what the user wrote:

But 'Set Settings' has decided that I can change Input B,
but it won't let me cursor down to Input A for some reason. so, I'll try
your suggestion for Service Control Mode. Right now Input A shows that it
is set to blank, but I swear that it saw it set to YPbPr earlier tonight.
In any event, I'll see what Service control mode can do for us.

-----------------------------------------------------

I got into Service Control Mode and didn't have any more luck there than I
did in User Control Mode. The input choices don't allow Input A, either.
All the other options either have a white box or a blue (selected) box
beside them, but Input A has a blank check box. It's as if the card isn't
there. But the card is there, and we used to use it as well as Input B.
The picture from B isn't horrible, but it isn't my idea of hi-def or as good
as before.

So, any idea's as to why he can't set Input A to RGB? I don't have my D50 handy to try it out.

Make sure that he has the "switcher" set to the correct setting. Can't think of what it should be without being in front of the PJ

Here's an update:

for what it's worth, on INPUT A, when we configure 5BNC to be on, we lose the picture in VGA mode. But on INPUT B, when we do the same thing, we not only keep the picture, but it gets better. Is that normal?

It seems there's an interaction between the input A and input B cards. Thought's?

On the G70 at least, there's a setting called "5BNC Mode" that affects the input signal on the B slot too (which in my case, is a Moome card with no BNCs).

I've always had to have this ON when dealing with any type of HD-format signal. I don't know what this is for, and as I recall, the manual is not very descriptive.
