If you want to sell C-Elements, just contact 3-M Precision, aren't they still the only manufacturer in the world ? I'm sure if you wanted to be a distributer, and paid their fee, you could sell them with your bellows.

However, I'm sure you realize with your experience with the bellows, a LOT of these sales are tied to price...and 3M would likely not supply you with C-Elements at an attractive enough price for you to both buy them AND sell them...

I am pretty sure 3M doesn't make them anymore. The only source is VDC who won't sell them as I understand it. Greg of Eisemann theater just sold his last pair.

I suppose this phone number on this page no longer gets you the guys who make the lenses ? I talked to them, but it was 4 or 5 years ago, did VDC buy the division ? I remember the woman I talked to said all the HD10 lenses were hand finished by a group of older women with years of experience finishing the best lenses they made...

We bought the last Red-C elements from 3M over a year ago, all 24 of them and I shipped them out all over the world.

I will shoot Curt a pm about this set. I had posted earlier in the week about this set and even let anyone local who was interested in picking this up know the price the guy would go down to. I have just completed my HT and the distance from the screen that this PJ needs will not work in my setup. I had no intention of advertising a working complete pj with this post. As stated I cannot make it work and I have never shipped a complete unit so I have not idea what is involved. I am having a color issue with the blue on my Sony D50 and I have an NEC 6PG in the warehouse at work that I hope to try to install in my HT in the near future. If I can make a deal with Curt to support me with these 2 pj's and he can tell me how to package one of these for transportation then that will work out well for everyone. Sorry to have caused a ruckus
Dan

Yes and unfortunately has really nothing to do with Dan's generous offer. It reminds of the old saying that no good deed ever goes unpunished.

Curt,
The pallet is ready for pickup. Just let me know what information I need to put on the shipment. The sooner that you can arrange for pickup the better. It will only be a matter of time until I hear complaints about it taking up dock space.
Thanks
Dan
