Yup..the motor was free spinning.....Many Thanks for your help on this macgyver655. To Curt as well for sending me here....he told me on the other board that you would try and help....

I did a check and both the HLN507W1X and the HLN507W1X/XAA use the same light engine, so the color wheels should be the same. So BP96-00250A would be the correct part.

It worked! Installed it and it came right up.

I of course have a problem though....I have cut off the top two inches of the screen with the bottome showing the same in a black line....Did I bump the projector and now it just needs to be aimed correctly?

Any help?
