|
|
I just sold my Sony VPH1271 to a Craigslist customer. I am going to help him set up on Wednesday.
Mine does not have the remote which has been perfectly fine for me.
But he has fairly high ceilings and even if he drops the projector down I think the way he plans to set up he
might have difficulty doing routine registration and trouble just powering it on. I notice my G70 remote operates
the 1271 and does pretty much everything a boy would want to do, which suggests to me almost any Sony CRT remote would probably work. Obviously I'd prefer to direct him to a wireless but if someone has a wired for sale it would be worth telling him about.
You can write me here or email me at emailatomic@gmail.com
Thanks.

I think Don? (BBQ guy) had some 12xx remotes for cheap, I believe they were wired, don't think he's sold them yet, hope he didn't throw them out.
You could use a G series Sony remote but they're much more expensive, 12xx remotes are pretty common and cheap, keep an eye out and I bet you can find one quickly.

Thanks. I'm relatively new to this forum so I'll have to figure out who Don the BBQ guy is.
But it sounds like a good tip.
