So the red neckboard almost eliminated the herringbone. The vim made no difference. Its that where we're at?

The noise was actually in all three of the neck boards, but it was worse in one of them. With it almost be being noticeable in one of them and barely in the other.

We've had the one that the noise shows up more on here trice, but could not duplicate it on either of my Marquees. If it would have shown up here, there's a capacitance trim pot on each of the neck boards, much like what VDC puts on their VIMs that I could have tweaked it out with.

But testing the board(s) on both machines using test patterns and 1080P Blu ray would not make the problem show up.

So, not sure why the problem only shows on his Marquee. But the cell phone issue does make me think there's some serious high frequencies going on in that Marquee.

This pretty much agrees with my thoughts and I think what you already said.

The problem is still there. The neckboards were merely amplifying the problem. They are probably not the problem.
