Oh I'm not Pissed , did you see the Winky emoticon after my comment? I just made an observation that most of ham spankers recent posts were craping on people. thats all Wink

And yes i am single and have a mad scientist basement, almost. And Boilmakers blend is still not perfected yet either Wink

But With a small room and small screen if Zaphod wants an upgrade go to a 9 inch single CRT.

And I agree Crab said it perfectly

point taken. if a bunch of enthusiasts are thinking "don't do it" then maybe I should focus on maximizing the best picture that i can get from my NEC XGLC and hold off on that sweet sweet NOS projector.

but, MAN i want it. i just can't find a good rationalization.

If you want it thats all the rationalizing you need.

Some of the best (and worst) decisions i have made were for just that reason. Usually its a lot of fun as well.

Gopher it!!!! Thumbs Up

What was negative about my post? The only blend that I can think of that seems to be running and was a smooth install is Boilermakers. I use to be pro-blend, but the headaches don't seem to be worth the effort.

Ummmm, my blend is running, perfectly. It did take a while. That's cause 1) it was a research project, and 2) nobody involved had (has) any concept of schedule. Since we've been through the complete process, 1 above no longer applies. On the other hand, 2 still might......... Smile

On the third hand, if other people were involved, then 2 above might not apply either................

1. Blends suck
2. Stacks suck
3. Marquee's suck
4. Barco's suck
5. Sony's (especially G-90's) suck

If you want a nice, trouble free theater, buy a AmPro Laughing Laughing Laughing
