On occasion, when I'm watching video on my 1292Q, I'll get a garbled mess of magenta on the screen. I looked and sure enough, the green tube's picture dropping out, and dropping out uncleanly. It's not like the picture goes straight to magenta. Rather, it gets garbled and usually returns to being fine after a second or two. This happened before and I recall reseating cables and connectors inside the projector, including ones near the neckboard, and having the problem go away. Apparently that was a placebo fix, though I think I'm going to try that again. Perhaps my green neckboard is starting to fail? I did have a red neckboard issue on this particular projector that I was able to fix by replacing the red neckboard. I also tried using the other RGBHV input card on the projector and that didn't make a difference, so it must be something more internal. My setup is HD DVD/BD to Lumagen VisionHDP to HDfury to 1292Q. It did this before when my signal path was analog, so I don't think the source is the problem. I'll have to take some video of the issue. Though I suppose the symptom could point to a number of components. I do know that the red and blue are projecting fine and don't seen affected at all by this issue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, guys!

sounds like the green neck board has managed to unplug itself. Try pushing it back on and tightening the clamp up.

Check the seating of the ribbon cable on the green neck board.
