As far as I know I answer all PM's.
Maybe not instantly but I do try and work for money some times
I have 114 and 117 lens,
These were best used for small screens and the 114 was on the green tube.
Pretty much all lens will be colour corrected (Exception of very early ones), Colour filtered is a different thing.
I cant tell you what "Small screen" actually covers as I never the the 808LC units, parts went to others
Pete (Z Photo) has a top plate and might be able to answer more about screen size.
Other two top plates went to "Mr King" (RIP my friend.)
Kal had Zenith1200 last time I checked........
Hope that is of some help,
Andy H.

Ah, but do you have the HD117-24's? That's what Walter needs. Also, color filtering should be in the C elements, not the lenses themselves.

Oh yes for sure they must be colour corrected. I know the 144s I had where coloured/corrected. I haven't had the 1200x lenses off to know if it's the C element or the lenses which are corrected.
Do these HD 117s/114s have the same mounting as the HD215s?
Andy, my mistake, it wasn't you who never answered my PMs over at AVF it was crteaman, sorry.
What do you mean Pete has a top plate?
Yes Kal has a 1200x same as mine.
Thanks guys, hopefully I can get this figured out as I'd hate to buy these and find out they won't work after a long boat ride.
Is there a website for Delta or Precision where I can look up these different lenses for the data sheets?

Walter, read down a bit to the post by the Late (RIP) Moose. He used the HD117-24's I think. but there are a few posts afterwards on what your asking.

They are still however lovely lenses beautifully made. |
Terry has compared the 1292 and G90 versions and states categorically there is no question the G90 version is far superior. I think edge focus capability is very impressive.

Just because he compared them doesn't make his test definitive. I could think of a lot of questions that I don't think were asked or answered such as "is there a difference between the c-elements between the G90 and 1292". Also, he is or was a reseller which presents a certain amount of bias. Again this doesn't invalidate the test, but it was only one test IIRC.

Last I looked the part numbers on the 10F's I had off the 1292 where the same as the set off the G90 I had.
This leads me to think they are the same. Feel free to disagree. But I know what I saw.

HI Adam,
I stand corrected, you are right the onyx does use the HD215, the manual I have is for the Cine8 which actually has air coupled lenses so the pics show a lenses with dual focus adjustments.
After talking with James (crteaman) he tells me that the Cine 8 Onyx is actually a clone of the 1200x not the other way around. Seems maybe Barco liked what Zenith wanted so they came out with their own version. James owned a Cine 8 onyx so I guess he would know, not to mention he serviced them for many many years.
