Hey Tinman
Would a T-shirt that says

"I create single mothers" be in bad taste?

Ummm doggy style...

Love your avatar

Sorry, I never come unprepared. Wink

Would be a fun T-shirt, though.

Marc

Which leads me to the next shirt:
"Baby you have to unwrap it before you use it"
hehehe

well, 2 becomes 1, but ceiling mounted...

mental note to self:make sure to invert image BEFORE ceiling mounting as it is a REALLY fiddly job to do upside down while balancing the projector top cover with your head...

Mine is mounted using a custom made stainless steel mount. Check the size of the beast, the little plastic thing next to it on the leftmost picture is a cd case... the mount is hollow to allow cables for the Barco. The mount alone wheigs about 18Kg... (approx. 40lbs)

Looks great. Question, do you run both the power and the video cables through the mount? If so, how did you shield them?

Due to the risk of interference with those in parrellel, I've only run one through the mount, then the other zip tied to the outside of the mount.

Yes they both run through the mount. The powercable is shielded though, but i never experienced any problems whatsoever. But since a couple of weeks i'm using a 50ft Gefen fiber-optic DVI cable, so now there should be no problem at all Smile

Nope... i had it made by a shop specialized in stainless steel stuff. The thing looks massive, but so does the barco... in fact it even looks slim when the barco is hanging under it Wink

I made a mount copying a chief design only alot heavier, the salvage yard had a big 1/4 plate of steel that was just the right size. If I ever stop fooling around with projectors I could use to lift up cars or something.
