I finally got around to recycling the old zenith projector that I had (the recycling center couldn't figure out what to do with the tubes, to many different kinds of hazards...lol..) and I fired up my d50 that I got a little while ago. Super mint, originally set up professionally so no funny issues. They only problem that I have is that there is a horizontal line at the very top of the projection image. I've tried different source devices (dvd, playstation, etc) but it is always there. The line is on each tube in exactly the same place, never moves. Any ideas? I can take pictures if that would help, Thanks very much in advance (and if anyone wants a ceiling mount for a zenith let me know)

Sounds like the ABG line, it's an automatic brightness control, you should be able to disable it in the menu on a D50, but you may want to just shift the image down under the line, and then mask the tube face with a piece of tape.

You can use the blanking feature as well to hide this line

I though the blanking feature would work too but it did not on my set. I turned off the abg in the menu and presto it was gone. Thanks very much guys, I can't wait to get this tuned in,
