VDC no longer rebuilding tubes.

wow, how much you wanna bet that's where tubular outlet gets their tubes? I bet they're pretty cheap but you might have to live with some phoshpor "imprefections" and such. Being made in China, I wouldn't want to pay more than half the cost of a $1200. LUG here. At $1800. per set. most people would put up with a little flaw here and there.

Kind of like the PVC imperfections in the Draper M1300 I lived with twice over.

Actually that factory is not in China its in Japan, so i bet quality is good and the price is not going to be that low. I just wanted to point out that there are more than one Tube maker and re-furbisher than VDC. I think the pattens ran out so now anyone with the equipment can make LUG's and the other tubes.

Gentlemen -- What is an 8" green tube worth? I'd rate it a 9. I replaced my 8" tubes with 9" tubes last year and have the 8" tubes laying around; somebody in the classified wants this one.

Its got a VDC part number on it (180DMB22G), which may mean it was a rebuild when I bought it.
