Your making it hard on your self. These hooks can hold 160lbs

I 5/16th lag bolt hook can hold 125 lbs easily. For shits and Giggles buy one 2.5" 5/16th lag, screw it in some where will it wont interfere with this project leave 1/4" exposed and try to pry that bitch out.
