Hello
First try reducing the gain, a trimmer on the vertical board. I have not heard of any other mods for this.

It's been a long time since I've worked on a ECP but as I remember, they had plenty of adjustment for widescreen.
The only modifications I'm aware of is Ken Hottes that make them perform like a G-90

I'm not sure if setting the vertical and horizontal adjustements to fit the 16:9 screen are giving me the proper aspect ratio. I know the Marquee's require that you change three resistors on one of the boards. Curt mentions in his for sale adds that he does all of the Mod's for these, including anamorphic squeeze Mod, so that's why I was wondering if there was a mod for this unit. Thanks for the replies, guys, maybe there is no mod.

O.K,
I've adjusted the vertical height with the trimpot located on the vertical board ( the second board from the left in the back of the unit. The image seems brighter and cleaner, and my vertical height setting is at 5 instead of 1. Coming off a bluray at 720p filmlike image. Just when I thought it could not get any better. Thanks for the info. I wanted to mention I'm running the signal through hd fury1 with the new gamma boost module. With the vertical setting at minimum the scanlines are just meeting.
