I've got two sets ready to go, three are waiting for tubes. Also need a deposit from the customer, as I've had a number of sales cancel out lately that I ordered parts for. I'm sure it's a go. So figure on 10 days to prep the sets, that puts us to the end of August, a week to ship, a week to install at their end, so I'm guessing mid Sept?
I will post as soon as the sets leave here, then I'll know more for sure. For meeting up with people, I don't mind renting a car or carpool with someone from Toronto. I'm assuming I'll fly in and out of Mississauga, as the customer is paying for the flight, but that could change as well. I figure on me having 24-36 hours of free time, then I gotta get back to work.
If anyone wants to offer up their house for a mini 'event', that's great, otherwise just driving a few hours wherever to meet up for dinner and general BSing is fine by me too. I know Cliff and others spend a lot of time and money putting official 'meets' together, I just want to meet some of the people I've been emailing with for years. |
A mini meet at my place would be cool, The theater is in shambles right now But I have a nice big yard, a decent sized Deck and can possibly get the blend closer to its temporary completion on the floor for the meet, who knows I might even have time to mount them up on the Ceiling. But dialing them in to perfection would be pushing it. But just meeting afew of the guys and You Curt would be Great!!. You could stay at my place that night, I would still have to go to my restaurant but you can make yourself at home while Im away.

I was just thinking about the three of us meeting up right before I got on here. Must be all the WiFi threads in my head
Hey I'm always up for a drive. Just did a 12 hour last night. Lovin' the '85 Pimpmobile. However you do realize by the time we get over to Kal's it may just be time to turn around and come back again? ( Sorry Kal! )
Let's invade Atanaosisisisisis'es place in Buffalo, play with his blend and have Kal fly in ( or drive, sorry again Kal! )
Bufflao is 2.5 hours from me. London is about 2 hours. Here to London, pick you up, travel to Buffalo, don't smart off at the border and we should be eating Duff's wings in just over 5 hours. THEN we invade Athanasios's place
You would have more time that way.
Whaddayathink?
BTW I'm outta town Sept 17-21 previous plans.
Of course I'm actually closer to Kal's then too. ( about 3 hrs )

Post here if you're interested, maybe we can have some mini meat, or at least a mini dicking session? |
Funny, it seems we are able to alter our reality here.

Hey guys,
I'm open to anything - let me know what the plans are. Sept is actually a really bad month for me: With birthdays and stags a lot is already booked but I'm open to anything and if I'm free my house is always open for a meet!
Let me know what sort of dates as things work out!
P.S. I just hooked up the last part of the brewery today so it's ready to go (I think). Got the temp sensors and a few other things to calibrate and then I think I'll brew up 10 gallons of American Pale Ale or something similar to get me going for starters. I have 7 other kegs alraedy in the converted freezer too ... I'm drinking an American Brown Ale right now that reminds me a lot of Mill Street Tankhouse (a Toronto brewery):

Hell, I'm only three hours from Buffalo. Something there I might actually be able to make it, assuming I'm not in some other country, and that I can tear myself away from my son. That'd be kind of cool - all those damned south-eastern CRTers with their fancy meet ups and big barbecues can bite me!
Ahem.

My wife's grandfather recently passed away and left a house on the Niagra River on the Canadian side to the family. Maybe I can talk her into visiting some of her family in the area.

Kal, I'm disappointed. What's more important? A pair of stripper t*ts at a stag, or meeting... ME?
Wait, don't answer that!

I've been told before that I look younger than I really am (I don't believe it - I'll be 40 next month) but 13 is pushing it!

Has anyone told you that you resemble Rob ray? Couldn't find a better pic sorry.
