Now where did I put that crate??? Oh, there it is, inside that AmPro 4600. Laughing

I received an Ampro 4200 in a rugged plastic cargo case years ago... I swear I could've made a couple of hardtops for my Jeep with it. Laughing

With what - the cargo case, or the Ampro? Razz

Curt, I guess I'll have to see if it's worth the PITA of dealing with the (ancient SD as it turns out) RPTV to extract some parts... I suppose I could just kick it off the back of the pickup on the way home... Wink

I guess I could've strapped the Ampro on top and used it for a hardtop with 3 built-in off-road lights...

Thumbs Up

So, I was going to go on Sunday afternoon to look at the stuff... then I realized that Sunday is my anniversary Surprised so... yeah, I don't think I'll be gone all day and then show up with a 701 and go, "Honey! Look what I got you! It's.... Jewelry! It's a necklace! I just need to get the chain for it!"

So I'll have to figure something else out. But work is crazy for the week following and then I'm in the UK for the week following that, and then in Seattle for a day or so, and then in LA for a day... I'll see if I can get him to dig up the model number anyway. Not sure I'll have an evening to check it out this week.

I'm ambivalent about taking on a 701 or 801... I love these PJs and know Barcos quite well now, but still. I've wanted to set up a PJ in my son's room to 24/7 project a fishtank or something on his wall or floor... but I hate to do that with a good PJ since it'll toast the tubes almost no matte what, and need a small one. Ideally I'd find a really toasty Dwin locally and just drive the ever-loving piss out of it, but that's easier said than done...

Ehh. Decisions...
