Hallo,

i´ve a problem with my HD500 CRT. Sometime th blue systen switches off. After a few minutes, when i switch on the CRT again, the system worgs again (I can not say when it happens, maby one time in a film, then it works fine a few days). When the system switches off and i go to the GRAYSCALE MENUE or the CONVERGENCE everything is OK. I´ve no idee what it is. Also i have no shematics of the CRT. Has anybody an idea what it is?

greets

Olaf

There are no schematics for this unit. try reseating the blue CRT socket connectors on the motherboard. that's usually it. Also reseat the BNC connector wires on the back of the BNC input board and where they connect to the motherboard.

Thanks for the fast answer.
I´ve forgotten to say that the blue system, when the failure ist there, verry dark. You can see a Video signal, but its dark.

I think it's slight corrosion on one of the video connectors. I've seen that before with the DWINs.

Just take them out and put them in a few times, that should do it.

Hallo,

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing I think that was it. The failure cames an i press a little bit on the Connector on the Motherboard. And what happens??? The blue system works fine. Thank you again for the verry good information. I hope now i will have an nice time with the Projector. By the way, the runningtime of the system is now 735 hours.

Next project: HD Fury
