I have measured the ramp before right on the VNB's, I did this before I had the Eye one pro to help me calibrate the G2's , but it also helps with using the Gamma control on the VIM-HD(old model) . I just used the greens VNB for looking at the ramp while setting the Gamma, as I figured it does most of the work.
Not sure if my thinking was correct or not, any one care to comment?

Using the just the green for setup is fine as the contrast/white setting on Moomes card is universal, meaning it adjusts all 3 (RGB) equally.

What I meant to say was the adjustment is global not universal (brainfart).

Hi Moome,

It is best to leave as a global adjustment.

I just came back from Mike's house. This new MOOME card is unbelievably good. We swapped my older card into his machine. The difference was staggering. We are not talking subtle, the picture was just great, huge, undeniably, better in every way.

I will be getting this Card from Moome as soon as it is ready.

Also Mike modded my older card while I was there, but it just won't do what the new one does, ever.

Moome I want this card. What is the release date with Mike's Mods?

Are these latest pictures with the Moome VIM or the fury2? I ask because this is the Moome forum and you have Fury2 in your signature.

Blu Ray - Serenity.

Very sharp movie, but terribly dark.

I don't know Mike, I am the resident Browncoat Firefly/Serenity Fan expert. Those opening shots of Serenity are pretty bright. At least they are on my Mitsubishi RPTV and on GOZER aka my 9500L/C with the previous mods before these.

Also to me the earlier shots of Kong look richer and more detailed. Of course it could be my computer screen, but I am comparing them on that screen too so... Question

The opening shots in Serenity are some of the very few areas of the movie that are bright. However, the majority of the movie is terribly dark.

Oh, and I did check back over the images and agree with what you've said about the most recent shots and how they compare to Kong.

Kong is a whole different type of transfer that's well riddled with CGI but pure in detail, while Serenity appears to be overly sharpened with poor lighting or they used the worst camera people to shoot it.

So since crashing early yesterday, I got up early this morning and spent some time looking into this. I really thought i had finished my Marquee mods, but then found that I needed to add a few resistors (1.8 ohm) on the neck boards. With that done, I fired up the 9500 and loaded up Kong once more.

Now, I'm thinking I can show what the final work looks like. But that's if it'll show in the shots. It's very obvious here, so much so, you're going to be floored the next time you see my setup.

I'll post my most recent shots from Kong here:
