Well, I have everything set up. Oppo/Sat to Moome card to proj. Did a setup as well as I can do and WOW! What an image! Only one problem...image on test screens and dish extends 13 inches above screen, 5 inches to the left, is cut off 3 inches from the right, and extends 5 inches below the screen. This is one big heavy piece of equipment that was already mounted to the ceiling with a fixed screen in place. Any other option besides moving the proj forward on the ceiling? That will be a daunting task but personally I see no other way. Please confirm my dreaded assumption. Or I guess I could perhaps get a VP and shrink the image down? Thanks.

You can adjust the raster size (size of image on tubes) down to fit your screen. You can also move the image around on the tube face. You generally want to utilize as much as the tube face as you can for a brighter picture but adjusting the raster will be much easier than moving the pj.

Thanks,
If you're referring to the size adjustment through the marquee geometry menu...I have that adjusted down as small as it gets. Is there another way to reduce the raster size through the mechanical setup?

I am not familiar with the details of the Marquee setup but with my Sony D50 I can make the raster size pretty small. I am sure someone who knows the Marquee setup will chime in.

NOOOOO, this is really bad. You need to move that projecotr forward, maybe as much as 5 or 6 feet. If you leave it like that, Your tubes will soon look like this. BTW, they're $1200. each for a 9500

If I remember correctly you purchased the house with the pj already installed. If so then you may want to take a look at the tubes to see if there is burn in already within a certain area. Did you do anything that would affect the size of the picture now compared to when you moved in?

Would be happy to take pics, and will, but presently my batteries are dead. They are very similar to the "good" pics on your setup guide, but the image is a bit too far to the right. Nothing terrible, but will need to be adjusted. In the short term, I'm more concerned with getting the display image correct on my screen. I did a rough measurement and I'm awfully close to 1.5 times screen width but still the image is far outshooting the screen. I guess I could get a bigger screen also. Thanks for your help folks.
