the funny part to me is that in the article you posted/linked is Gary saying that he would be sending the broken set to Curt for fixin'
i'm estimating that the time frame of Gary's statement is about 3 years back - hardly viable.
heck, even 5 years ago this would have been impossible

On the forum I joined for my Cadillac someone(who had cleared it with the mods) had posted a service manual for the members to use(its a gm service manual) only to have it removed by the same people who allowed it in the first place its all to cover the forum and keep it from getting invlolved should something happen(but this is plain stupid not letting good people know about a rip off artist and con man)
They have yet to restore the link the guy had posted to this date

I did a search on Gary's name with Kentucky and this thread was on the first page. At least if someone does a little research, then they should find the info.
Here is his post from three years ago. I fully stand behind what I said in my dealings with him. If he has an issue, then by all means get a lawyer.

It's incredibly disappointing that AVS will allow threads about bad merchants, unless it's Gary Murrell. Whatever his personal issues/character flaws are - and he has quite a few - they're not an excuse for poor or deceitful business practices where customer after customer is left with no product while he sits on their money for months at a time. Someone just needs to take this piece of sh*t to court and tech him that you don't f*ck people like this - not once, and especially not repeatedly.

I like his threats over at avs. He is the one with no money. Taking him to court will prove nothing, and he'll still sit there and threaten me and others. It would be fun to go to avs and rile him up, but he's already outed himself, sparing me the aggravation. Gary, since you're reading this here as well, you're a dirtbag pussy punkass bitch.

He threatens people (like you) for the same reason that he lies to and extorts them - he hasn't yet been properly shown the legal (and subsequent financial) repercussions of doing whatever he wants without regard for how that affects others negatively. Most people he deals with have good reputations to worry about - something to lose. He has neither of those.
Whoever takes him to court would have to see the process through to the end. He has plenty of time to waste, so spending it in court on and off wouldn't really impact him; being forced by the court to relinquish some of his already limited monetary assets is what will make the point lasting.
