Hey everyone,

It's been years and years since I've been around but now that I have an issue with my old BG808, I'm back for some help. The last time it was over at avforums.com and it's nice to see such a great community over here.

The blue gun in my BG808 keeps dropping out. It will come back and then drop out again. When it drops out, the G2 LED on the neck board is lit up. Nothing in particular seems to make it happen or stop happening. It doesn't change when the signal changes sources or follow any of the cables if I switch R/G/B inputs.

I just wanted to check here in case this was one of those, "oh yeah, your <X> is going" issues so I can source a replacement part or see about getting mine fixed up.

Any help appreciated.

Sincerely,
Jerry Brady

Sounds like you need new 7621735 rgb amp or VPH-06/VPJ-06 chip (hard to find) chanced to old one.

You can verify problem by swapping blue amp to red one and see if problem follows.

And it turns out that was the problem. I swapped blue with green and the problem followed. Thanks!
