Thanks SC for converting the .MOV file.
Sorry about the lens looking like it is moving also. I was standing on a ladder and holding the camera in one hand while whacking the projector on the side with the other.

Thanks for the link Athanasios. Amazon.com has those Enlobal fans for $10.48.

1000 RPM, 44CFM, 17db, 12VDC
How do you think it would compare to the Noctua. It has three possible speeds depending on which wire you connect:
1200 RPM, 59CFM, 18.1 db
900 RPM, 44CFM, 10.6 db
600 RPM, 28CFM, 6.2 db

well the 44 cfm really means nothing as static air pressure is more important. that is measured by how much deflection of H20 imm is caused by the fan from a predetermined height above the water. So you have to make sure the pressure the fans create is strong enough even though they both are 44 CFM one might not be as strong pressure wise.
Also remember the fans in the LVPS also draw air through the HVPS so a fan that can not create enough mmH20 might cause the HVPS to fail prematurely. I am not exactly sure what the unit of measure is for that H20 mm thing but I have seen it on some specs for PC fans. I also tested the fan by putting a thin strip of paper on the opposite side
of the LVPS while the original fans ran and measured how high the one end of the strip deflected up, then i did the same with the Enermax, it was pretty close, but rose higher once i cut out the opening more and cut the grate out of the exhaust side of the LVPS.
enermax 8.50 here http://www.directron.com/uc12eb.html

Thanks for pointing that out. I found the static pressure numbers for the Noctua:
1200 RPM, 59CFM, 18.1 db 1.31 mm H2O
900 RPM, 44CFM, 10.6 db 0.76 mm H2O
600 RPM, 28CFM, 6.2 db 0.34 mm H2O
So for 900 RPM mode, which is the most comparable to the Enermax Enlobal fan, 44CFM and 0.76 mm H2O.
Do you know the static pressure measurement for the Enermax Enlobal or for the original Marquee fans?
