In my case they way I resolved my problem was by doing an extensive cleaning of the boards, always grounded to prevent micro shortages on the board, I would suggest you try the same, then if no luck just pay the $150 bucks and get a functional set.
The unit has been working great for a couple years now.

Your right I thought all forums were put together in order to help people. I was unaware that this forum is meant to get you buisness. Sorry you did not make a buck off of me. I will find help elsewhere.
My mistake.

They are, but when you come here and then insult the very person that put this forum up in the first place, I have an issue with it.
You're right, I DO make my living off this website, so IDEALLY you'd send me boards to repair, but I understand if you don't. You still don't need to come here and insult me, and THEN expect others here to assist.

Sorry if I insulted you by asking for help. I was under the assumption you insulted me with your answer. To my question. I was only looking for help.

Based on your first post I think you need to find a forum that teaches you how to solder first. And how to identify a bad solder joint.

Oh, and Curts post in response to your question was correct. If you dont know how to solder then you can do more damage then good.
So his post "WAS HELPFUL" to your question.....
