Hi,

Are there any resources on properly adjusting the contrast knob on the Moome cards? If not, any advice you can share? I understand the gamma knob, and I'll be tweaking that this weekend as I do my grayscale calibration (thanks to Kal's guide!). But not sure what to do with the contrast knob or how to know if it's set correctly. Just got the Moome card and I haven't moved it from it's default/shipped position.

Thanks,
Joe

You turn it counter clockwise to max it out. A 100 IRE field should be .7v the contrast adjustor will allow you to go to 1 v. you need to measure this at the mini rca jack on the vim or at the end of the mini rca cable connector that goes to the VNB. id leave it alone unless you find that 100 IRE is not .7v at the end of the rca connector. then you would raise it till 100IRE is .7 v unless you want it bit higher for some reason.

Thanks. That sounds like a bit outside my comfort zone so I'll leave it alone for now. Smile
