I have just installed a frame from a barco data 801s into my 1100. Unfortunatly there is no HV after the change and there also appears to be a scan fail which did not previously exist. The set does power up though.
I am using the right SMPS, EHT tested and working, Quadrupler unchanged but was working.
The splitter came with the frame and is therefore different. I did disconnect this to see if scan fail changed but this did not change anything.
Vertical deflection board is known to be working.
Horizontal deflection board ??? but was supplied by Curt.
Horizontal shift??
I could run through a process of elimination by removing parts but there was also a smell of burning electronics (nothing burned as I switchwed off right away) which is why I am trying get feedback without applying power to help solve this problem.
Any help appreciated.

OK found the scan fail problem. That appears to be H deflection board. So one down one to go. Still no HV. The focus diagnostic leds show a flickering HTHD led.
I am assuming that this is because there is no H deflection board as currently I don't have a spare.
Any input here would be good.

Since I seem to be answering my own question I will finish this with the H Deflection board was the problem. Installed replacement and all is good.
