wtg wolf-strong! I still get excited when another piece of the puzzle comes together, it's a great feeling. It's an even better feeling to do it on the cheap.

So small update today!
Last night I got Windows Media Center up and running with Netflix! Watched Ong-Bak Tai Warrior which was such a cool movie; talk about some crazy moves! The only thing that sucks is that they don't have a wide selection of disney movies and finding a movie can take a bit of searching. Also can't seem to find a way to go directly to Netflix from WMC without minimizing to the desktop and clicking on the icon.
Sorry about no pictures yet. Ill try and take some today.

Alright! The promised pictures taken with my camera for better quality!
Here you will see the front (screen is up). Unfortunately I didn't get a shot with good lighting, but on the left at the edge of the dresser you will see a small black box, which is the front left speaker. On the right, it is impossible to see but there is the center channel and right speaker. The center channel will be mounted up above the projector screen for better audio direction soon FYI.
Now behind the projector, you can see the two rear surround speakers. I have these facing sort of sideways, which actually provides nice reflection and actually does a fairly nice job.
And here you go; no more monitor as I got the projector to fit the whole computer image by tweaking with everything a bit. Much cleaner, and the Sony receiver in place of the Yamaha. While I do like the Yamaha more, it did not have a Sub Out connection for the sub, which you see at the bottom with some movies on top of it. The computer is doing great though!
MOVIE SHOTS!!!!
Here is Disney's Robin Hood! Perhaps one of, if not my favorite Disney movie. You will also notice some burn-in on the top left corner which is obviously from the projectors previous life before I got it (DVD Disk)
Of course, what movie collection would be complete without 300! (DVD disk)
Thanks for the suggestion on NETFLIX!!! I am now able to stream movies straight off the web! While the selection is a bit narrow, it is still just awesome! The quality is surprising good as well. I would say on par with DVDs though the sound quality is a bit nurfed in comparison.
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (Online Streaming via Netflix)
FYI: 8000 hours on this projector and as you can see, outside of the small burn-in area, it is looking great! My mom and her boyfriend came in to check it out, and the first thing she said was 'wow; I can't believe how amazing the colors are!' while Ken was impressed over the fact that you could actually hear the voices of people talking (they are use to using an old 27" TV with built in speakers lol...). Even I am still breath taken by the quality of the picture for a projector with THIS much use already on it!

wolf-strong, now you need to get a cheap colorimeter and go through Kal's grayscale calibration. My first colorimeter was a spyder2 and it was $50 on ebay. Sold it for the same amount as I bought it. Even that cheap meter worked wonders on the colors!
