Yay! Now I think I am getting closer to the perfect "box" for my TV.
Bluray
Netflix
DVR
Tried it out last night and it is better than the xbox integration by far because it lets you see the entire "Play it now" catalogue instead of just the titles you have already entered into your instant queue. THe quality is still in need of improvement, but the convenience of just scrolling through movies and then hitting play is pretty sweet. I know that my cable company offers this but netflix has more titles.
Anyone else tried it yet? Are they going to be offering titles in HD at some point in time?
Things the Windows Media Center still needs:
Pandora App
Built-in BR integration without 3rd party software
Built-in archived movies support without 3rd party software
Built-in commercial advance/skip on recorded shows without 3rd party software
I have been itching to give 7MC a try for more than a week, but haven't had the time for another reinstall, and don't really feel like messing with it again in a few months.
