Were any of you guys fans' of the THIS telivision network ( formerly RTN -Retro Telivision Network )

I noticed they are off th eair here on the Bufalo station. Aparently they have been sold to a Bible thumer broadcaster after filing Chapter 11.

They were the digital ATSC station that piggy backed some of ABC(?) stations broadcasts. They played all the old 60', 70's and 80's TV shows and movies 24/7 in glorious over compressed pixelated 480i. With a floating black level worth of a bottle of ink. Still it was cool to be able to turn on the old TV in the office and watch "Airwolf" at lunch time.

No it was more bankruptcy that did them in. That and I would say a lack of advertisers. They never did have very many commercials.

I have still have RTN here. It is a digital subchannel to the local ABC affilliate.

Can't say that I have ever watched it though.

Interesting. I thought all the RTN's became THIS's's's

Crappy picture quality, fun old shows.
