I'm wondering if this product will work to allow me to hook up my wii to my barco switcher (RCVDS 05 ) through a 5-bnc input card? r,g,b of wii cable each into one of these then into r,g,b of input card which runs my electrohome marqee 8500 projector?

Thanks

I may be wrong but I thought the Wii only had composite and component output? Not RGB. RGB is not component. They're different.

See: http://www.curtpalme.com/CRTPrimer_17.shtm

So you'd need a component to RGB transcoder to hook up the Wii to your projector. Something like the Box1040 or RTC2200.

I run the Wii component output into a Samsung SIR T165 set top box and it seems to upscale pretty well. From there it goes into a switcher, then thru the HdFury1 to my PJ. It's great.

I tried my Wii using the component in on the box 1040, couldn't get it to give me a usable image. I'd love to put the Wii on the projector though.
