From down under: I purchased the DVD for setting up and recalibrating my Sony 1271, and got lost on the raster set up.
What I have is the R G & B test pattern with all colours quite a bit away from each other on the cross hairs. What adjustment (obviously manual, because I can't get the software adjustment to cater for it, not enough range) to the lenses or yoke are needed to get them to all line up. Is there anyone in Brisbane Australia who would like to be paid to do this for me, I'm a little overwhelmed with the DVD and after doing the restting back to 128, it has thrown my system way out? Any sugesstions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think you need to do this: http://www.curtpalme.com/Sony125x_SpacerMod1.shtm

It looks like 1271's don't have the ability to physically toe in the red and blue tubes to exactly align the center image on the green, but there is a modification detailed in the above link to allow you to do that, I think its what you're looking for...

Also just to add. The SOny 12xx seies will have come with lens spacers. S, M or L

See which set your projector has in it. The Small were for 72-80 inch screens, the Medium for 100-110" screens and the large ( very rare ) were for screens too big for home theater use.
