I need help locating the rest of a ceiling bracket for my 9500lc ultra Curt suggested i try here i have all of the parts that attatch to the prjector now i need the parts that attatch to the ceiling.[img][/img]

this is pretty common, the PJ gets pulled down but the people who do this work aren't the type to take the mating piece and attach it back together. I have gotten 3 or 4 brackets wit hjust the PJ half. Never could find the missing piece, wound up fabricating the missing piece by and machining/welding mild steel together. Basically, it's going to look like a box with slots on the upper flat part and 1 pin on the side. 4 nutes spot welded to inner face.

I think I have a few of those somewhere, but I'm not exactly sure if they went to a Marquee, or a G70, or a G90, or a Barco, or a Ampro, or a XG, or a PG, or a...
What's the measured width between your hooker doohickies?

He emailed me, I told him I'd never seen this type of bracket used on a Marquee, as the mounting holes for the Marquee are in the extreme corners of the set.

That looks like the bottom half of a Sony mount, for a 12xx set.

thank you for the responses. it is 3 1/2 inches between the brackets when the are screwed into the base i will try to post more pictures to help

That is the part that attaches to the ceiling, you need the part that goes on the projector.
I remember seeing a bracket like that before, but not on a marquee.

the two ears bolt to an aluminium plate that slides in the steel bracket attatched to the projector the last picture is of the projector on it's side and the plates bolted to it

Those wings are bolted on backwards... the hook tab doohickies are typically more like 18" apart.
Looks like someone rigged their own mounting contraption from other projector mounts. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

the plates can only bolt on one way because the holes are staggered, thank you i am open to any suggestions and i appreciate everyones time and help

Discard that rig, it is not bolted to the projector frame and looks highly unsafe.

Hello
I would not never ever mount a Marquee projector by other than the foot sockets; that was the intention of the designers.
