I was tempted to get it to scavenge marquee parts from, but the seller went all ferenghi on the crating, etc. charges. Ugh.

No, the year and a half it took me to learn how to operate and adjust my Minty PG+ was all the headache I need. I like watching movies every now and then. Unless a sweet deal falls in my lap, I'll be seeing what Curt can do for me. Hopefully, the lottery will make it easier for me. Come on lotto!!! Laughing

That 1292 has a geat look Thumbs Up
I would like to see how the silent fans are mounted and how the fan speed works.
Maybe the new owner can make some pics of the inside because there is damping material in it.
If retubing is to expensive (I've payed $400 for 3 800h tubes!) I will consider to buy it in parts, especially the case and the silent fans would be great Mr. Green
When fired up look for striking, maybe the neckboards have better cooling then a standard 1292 ....
