It may be a fresh install but did you also try the latest firmware and software when you installed? If not go to SiliconDust website and d/l and install that. I did that last weekend and totally painless install/rescan/firmware uppdate - plus the new server matched all my local channels (I only tried QAM) without any input from me except to do a new scan

I have Silicon Dust looking into it and they say I need a replacement. hopefully I just got a bad one. They even let me try their new beta firmware. Nothing worked.
