I was using my projecter and it made a pop noise and shut off. It was dead. I found a fuse on the power board that had blown. replaced it and there were some large size sparks from the power board with loud cracking noises. Exciting right! Anyway, wondering if anyone knows if just the power board (the board were the power plug plugs) would have to be replaced or if I would need something else too. And lastly, curt you got one?

I probably have one. I'll need a pix. 'Power board' describes just about every board in the set.
Chances are the HV splitter or HV board has failed.

So i was thinking of fixing this projector but then decided that what I would really want is a nicer projector to begin with. So, in the effort to help the community i would like to offer parts from the zenith projector for sale/free. I just bought a sony vph-d50q that is supposed to be pretty nice (we'll see when it gets here right?) for practically nothing. So i am going to offer parts from the zenith for basically the cost of shipping. I'm not sure if there is any desire for parts off of this, maybe curt can advise.

Anyone with a PRO 900 should grab the HV board and the HV splitter. How are the tubes, I might buy those.

the tubes are burned in pretty serious at 4/3 and basically they are shot. i'll send them to you if you want for free (for core fees maybe?) but like you mentioned before the hv or anything else might be dead. Because of this if anyone wants stuff for the price of shipping its theirs.

Thanks, but I'll pass, but someone with one of these should take you up on the board offer.
