I had my bg808 at 1366x768 with a vertical scan rate of 72hz, using powerstrip. I'm feeding the vga signal straight to port 3 with a custom cable. It looks great.

Today, I decided to test 1280x720 to get a crisper picture. I set the vertical scan rate to 72hz again with powerstrip. I stepped through the setup and it looks good. 10-15 minutes into a movie the screen goes blank and switches to a new memory block and says 120hz on the screen. Of course I've never set any signal like that on the bg808 so although you can see the screen it looks horrible.

So, I change powerstrip back to x768 and it flickers back to that resolution. Then I can put it back to x720 and it looks good again. I don't believe the htpc is changing hz. I only notice this problem running 720 resolutions. I haven't tried a different vertical scan rate though.

Any suggestions on why this would be happening?

Thanks!
