One of the minty BG808s. I've had a couple of people buy these to replace worn BD808/BG808, and in both cases, I got emails back saying that the BG808s was a significant improvement over what they had.

One customer was semi local, and had used the BG808 that I sold him to the point where the 8-9 condition tubes ended up being 6s. He bought it about 7 years ago, and despite a couple of glitches (bad initial setup, I finally went to his place and redid the setup to get rid of the convergence drift that multiple boards didn't solve), it worked fine. He did the HD144 lens upgrade, and transplanted those lenses to the new BG808s. He loves it.

I've got about 4 units left, I'm parting out the rest due to tube wear. I have some minty red BG808s Sony tubes, the G and B were toast in some of these sets.

So I need to find a deal on a Fury is what you are telling me.. You guys are killing me... LMAO.. I only have a limited "toy" fund and its spring.. The car habit is jones'n me BAD.... Trouble is I know ya'll are right about this..

Well.. anywho... I was all set and ready to buy this PJ before Christmas and Curt didn't have them ready to go yet... So by the time he did I had already stuck the money away in savings.. So I need more play money... No big deal.. had a Jeep with full repaint for sale.. That thing was bought with the toy fund so by the family rules I must save 40% of the profit and the rest is toy money... Bam the PJ is covered... But low and behold LOADS of work comes in, along with the barn business and Boosts the income more than enough to cover the PJ without touching the Jeep money...

The GLHS is going to be one nice ride... Could but I am not going to touch that money now... So... I guess what you are telling me is I need quit jacking around here and put my ass to work to come up with another 500 bucks or so, so the nice new PJ and have decent source material... Shouldn't take long...

damn you...

(LMFAO.. funny thing... We have a "progressive tax" in my household To a certain point the money goes into bills and savings, investments ect.. Then after a certain point the money is "play" money to be shared... Then After a certain point again the money is "taxed" as I love to say.. Part to the toy box.. part to the future... Living on damn near nothing is a great way... Ya'll wouldn't believe the deals to be had when you look... )

Selling a PJ to me is a testament to the character and quality of service Curt delivers... This purchase was extraordinarily out of the ordinary for me... And I am far from disappointed...

Yes thats it EXACTLY.

I'm in a similar boat. The ex and I have reached an agreement, so I get my house back (YAAAY) and i now have issues to deal w/

1.settling my broken lease w/ my apartment
2. new doors for the house
3. New siding for the house
4. New bed and stuff for the Big Dawg ....

My situation is similar. I have a set amount for Mr Bill, tuition, save a set amount, and anything over goes to toys and such.
So i'm busting my hump, doing taxes, e-bay biz, setting up the day care.....

The rapidly melting Big Dog, is back on the market! I need cash for the new life, so off to work i go

Twisted Evil

HEHE... I stayed away from circle track racing because I know that I wouldn't be able to keep money in my wallet.. And now I am getting sucked in with ya'll just cheering the money right out of my back pocket.... LMAO...

But I think this year instead of just frying tires and engines at the strip... (or burning truckloads of gas through the jet boat... its hard not to do that 455 sounds out of this world at 4300)

I need to make a trip to FL... http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/events/2008-challenge/

Or enter the LeMONS 24... http://www.24hoursoflemons.com/

But either way the GLHS is getting worked over like it has needed for years this summer... hell.. I can drop 1000 bucks in paint materials ... and still have to spray the thing my damn self... Tires.. Forged pistons.. the t3/t4 hybrid turbo.. ect ect ect...

But at the end of the day nothing beats sneaking up on a guy like Nashou in his precious little evo and leaving em in the dust in the "viper in a box"

A local guy has a 88 Sundance... 2.5L engine.. that put 501 HP to the REAR wheels (think about it Wink ) on a dynojet the other day.. and he drives it work to everyday... The car could be copied for under 3500 bucks.... EASY...

Good thing I figured out how to live dirt cheap a long time ago... With barely a house payment and NO debt.. (house bill will be gone soon) Living is sure a lot easier and a lot more fun.. Just gota keep my eyes smaller than my wallet...
