Just a followup to this thread that was closed:

Just FYI to fellow CRTers, Gary R did NOT send me a refund, and now refuses to, saying that I tied his money up with a Paypal dispute for about 2 weeks (as Paypal will do while they 'review' the dispute.)
Since this wasn't an ebay transaction, Paypal found in favor of Gary, but despite emailing me and posting here, he how won't follow up on the $250 refund.
I'm not whining, just want to make sure other forum members do not deal with this guy.

the really sad part about dealing with people like that is they actually believe they did nothing wrong. i mean multiple people pointd out to him that he changed his story, basically lied repeatedly, in the same thread. Just before Allan closed it he posted he would refund Curt the $250.
It doesn't do a dam bit of good though,There's always a new reason why it's all the other guys fault. There's always a new justification why he or she keeps making the wrong choices. I doubt he even has the money to give back , probably owes money to the landlord and everyone else who knows him. I can't help but feel sorry for people like that, Curt's out $250. but people like will always be who they are.

I was so busy at work that I missed all of the drama when it happened. That Gary R guy is a dick and a fraud plain and simple. And I don't know what kind of stick was up Mr. Finance's ass. Evidently he thinks that Curt's services are worth about $1.50. What a prick.
