Hey guys, been a while.

My XG-852 Moome card junked out on me. Not sure why but it has a really unstable picture on the DVI connector or the Component connector.

Should I get it repaired or just buy new? I have a HD-DVD, cable TV HDMI, soon a Blu-Ray and several other components ranging from a PC to a component satellite receiver.

I have an Extron switcher which is pass through for the component and RGB.

What I really want is an easy control of these components and HD. What are my options?

Thanks,

Clay

I hear the NEW NEC HDMI card is much much better than the old NEC card... Gary Murell had one ask him about it.

I've got an early Moome DVI NEC card sitting in my projector not getting used. Do you want it?

Offer me a good dollar and it is yours.

Does it have the EDID chip or whatever it's called? Will it work with Blu-ray? What are you using if not this card?

I never did do the EDID update but I don't think I needed to. I am currently using an HDFury GE through a Kimcoder with Gamma and then to an ISS switcher. (I know! lots of connections!)

I will check it tonight with my Toshiba A3 and playstation for both HD DVD and BR.

THe card played Kung FU panda from the PS3 and Polar Express from the A3 just fine. I routed it through a monoprice switcher in complete interest of disclosure but I am confident it didn't affect anything.

Let me know if you are interested because someone else has shown interest and has second dibs if you don't want it.
