The fan in the front of the chassis is not connectected, can someone advise me on how I can access that area of the projector so I can plug the fan back in?
Also, I noticed this cable which wasn't plugged into anything...any ideas what it is?

Remove the convergence tray by turning the two slotted screw on each side at the bottom of the projector or top if ceiling mounted.
Does your projector have an Iris 2 or 3 ?
Kind of looks like the front IR remote cable but it's been awhile since my 808 projector needed any work ...

That is the IRIS cable. If someone swapped the convergence tray in the past, that would account for it. Ignore the cable, you may proceed.
