I've been trying to get the XG to be controlled by pc, and I'm not having much luck. I clipped a moniter cable for the 15 pin connector and got a 9 pin connector soldered up as per the piout diagram I found over on avs.

When I plug the 15 pin in to the option port on the projector, it blanks out and says unregistered signal. Any ideas?

I'm mainly playing till I get a service remote. But it would be nice to start looking at the setting and playing around.

Did you check your serial number to make sure your XG is compatible with the control software?

Those incompatible numbers are a range aren't they?

if that the case mine is 2700181 and therefore not compatible.
