I would say the COG is bad. I know there are some ones off SEOS projectors that are totally different from the 'regular' COG boards, and won't work in 'normal' sets.

If you want, send it to me for testing, I've got spares here..

it was from a 700 series projector that worked...... Would trying it in another projector hurt anything?

I had the jumper on the non 700 series

I think that is your problem. From the instructions: "PLEASE NOTE: FOR USE IN A 1208s/2 USE the 700 position, I will try and confirm for other projectors but that IS where is works. I am under the belief that the markings on the boards are either wrong OR misunderstood." My recollection is in my Data 808s I also had to use the 700 position. I am assuming here you have a non 700 series projector.

Have you tried this jumper in the other position?

No, you won't hurt anything by trying the other position. I better check to see if I tried that on the SEOS boards..Smile

It has been a while since I installed the COG in my Data 808s but my recollection is that I put jumper in the non-700 series position and it didn't work. I then put it in the "700 series" position and it did work. It didn't fry anything in either position. But it has been 2-3 years since I did it.....

I am glad it worked out and thanks for letting us know. You do have to wonder about Barco's labeling on this....

Perhaps the board was made before the 1209s came out?

Good point, it is the same with my Data 808s so maybe the issue is the board came out before the "S" series Barcos?

What does this horizontal linearity board look like? Part number? I have a 1209s SEOS convergence tray and it has two thin boards mounted one on each side of the COG location. Is one of those it?

Hi Mark Very Happy

I only have the COG board in the tray and no other little boards beside it.

On the left hand side of the picture is the seagull correction board. The board on the other side I'm not sure, but I think it might be a SEOS board.
