Are there any HDMI to HDMI gamma boost boxes out there?
All I have seen is gamma boost on analog signals.
I have a HDMI input card in my SONY 1272 and would like to do the gamma boost before the PJ.

I'm not familiar with the Sony HDMI input cards, but I thought that they would have gamma bump options available like the Marquee cards?
It almost sounds like you are asking for a device which accepts HDMI in from your sources, applies the gamma adjustments, then outputs via HDMI into your Sony's HDMI input card. If this is what you're asking for, you'd need to invest in the Lumagen VP's.

I would love to have one of these too. I don't have a projector, I have a RPCRT set with an HDMI input.

Do note that you will get horrible banding in doing so as it is in 8bit digital domain.
Doing what Kal suggested is the way to go IMHO.
Or do it in the analogue domain.

Thanks.
I thought of doing a gamma fix after the HDMI card. However, I am showing everything from the computer now and it has gamma boost.
Maybe buying the DVI card was a mistake in my case as I didn't buy a Bluray-player. I havn't really compared the RGB to the HDMI input. Oh well. It wasn't that expensive.
