Hi. This is something I only just noticed on my Ampro. I have no idea if this is normal or not:

I have my PS3 (though this may be true for other sources) going through a Pioneer receiver, then an HDFury, then finally though RGBHV to the Ampro.

However, not all of the "width" is coming through. Or it is, but it's "rolled" off the sides of the screen.

If I turn off left and right blanking, and mess around with the phase, I can see about 1/10th of the image curl back upon itself, and appear as a ghost image behind the main image. When I phase to the left, the right side of the screen straightens out until it is fully back on screen. Same if I phase to the right.

I can get rid of the curled-up part with blanking-- but I realize now that I'm losing a slice of the side of the picture.

Is this something that is supposed to happen? (I have it running at 1920x1080p). Is the Ampro not able to fit the entire width of the source on the raster?

I have this problem on a local set. It has H shift to the left and image wraparound, even with H phase all the way at 100%. I changed every board in the set, still had the cutoff/shift issue. I gave up. Can't explain it. I think tse formerly of Ampro said that the H retrace wasn't fast enough to handle the 1080p signal.

Oh. =( That's going to make game playing not as much fun. At least most PS3 games aren't in 1080p yet.

Hrm, I just noticed the same effect on the "Help" screen. On the left side, the blue background is wrapped around, just left of the green | border. I always wondered why the internal test patterns looked weird around the edges.
